Midway through my undergraduate degree I wondered if I was in the right major and how I could have an impactful and fulfilling career. Based on my passion for the artistic precision of computing, I decided to get my PhD in computer science with the goal of helping to educate others. After completing my degree, my goal is now to be a computer science faculty member at a university.
My goal is unique since I am looking for a position that equally balances teaching and research. I feel I have the capacity to work effectively as a teacher in the classroom and as a researc mentor in the lab. I am currently applying to full-time, tenure-track positions that satisfy this balance.
