Whether it's the sweat from a competive running race, a pick-up basketball game, or from chasing my son around our living room, I try to take my passion for living with me inside and outside the university. My marriage to an amazingly talented woman only enhances my love of life. The zeal for literature (both reading and writing) that she brought into our marriage has made my life so much more fulfilling. And it was her determination to stay in peak physical shape that has driven me to try and keep up. Any given evening will find us reading a Victorian novel out loud, writing our own funny stories, or pushing our son in his jogging stroller as we train for another race.
