Research has been an integral part of my education since I started mentored undergraduate research almost six years ago. My research has spanned such diverse topics as computer graphics and global illumination, machine learning and cognitive modelling, computational geometry, and crowd simulation.

My advisor, Dr. Parris Egbert, has encouraged me to work with a high level of independence, creating a doctoral program with much of a post-doctoral feel. Combined with my consistent work in undergraduate research mentoring, I feel prepared to start an effective and competive research lab on my own.

To learn more about my research, feel free to watch the video on the right, created by the Brigham Young University College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Even though the video is targeted at new graduate students, it gives a flavor of both my research interests and my personality.
